Credits
Each credit is $1 of prepaid inference, spent per request.
- On our ledger. Credits are recorded on our payment ledger and in your account in real time (1 credit = $1). They are not a token: they cannot be sent, sold or cashed out; they are spent on models.
- Metered live, split hourly. Your balance updates on every request. Settled usage is split in hourly batches, each tied to the head of our hash-chained usage log.
- The margin split. A spend pays the inference cost, then your own buyback ($INFX or your token, out of the margin). What is left of our margin: 10% protocol fee, and 90% buys $INFX: 54% of the margin is distributed to $INFX holders, 27% is burned and 9% is permanently locked by the team. An affiliate's cut (10% of the referred account's margin in USDC, or 20% as credits) comes out of the protocol fee, scaled down if the hour's cuts would exceed it.
- Holder credits, no claim. Every hour the USDC the $INFX LP fees delivered to the vault (after the treasury's deduction) is credited to $INFX holders automatically, split by time-weighted holdings (an hourly average of at least 1,337 $INFX). The vault holds USDC only and backs every holder credit 1:1. Adding funds needs no $INFX: anyone can.
- Expiry. Holder credits expire 45 days after they arrive if unused, and their USDC backing is split like the margin (10% protocol fee, and 90% buys $INFX: 54% of the margin is distributed to $INFX holders, 27% is burned and 9% is permanently locked by the team); affiliate and promotional credits expire after 365 days unused; your cash balance never expires. Expiry falls at 00:00 UTC. Every arrival of credits is a lot with its date; requests spend your expiring credits first, oldest first, so they rarely go unused; your cash balance is used after them. A refund takes back the newest lot first. Your dashboard shows "$X expires on <date>" 30, 7 and 1 days before.
- This week's deals. Occasional week-long price cuts, paid out of our margin and never larger than it, are listed on the $XAVA holders page.
- Proof. Every vault inflow, every holder distribution and every hourly margin split with its hash, are on the proof page.
